The clinic describes it as a dual-wavelength system using Alexandrite (755 nm) and Nd:YAG (1064 nm), with Candela’s Dynamic Cooling Device and larger spot sizes for faster treatments. It says the technology has over 25 years on the market and is FDA-cleared. Dual wavelengths allow treatment of a wide range of skin tones, but results still vary from person to person.
